This article covers the specs, the download methods and the licensing boundaries of all three asset libraries in one go, so you do not have to hunt for them.

Specs at a glance

Library Domain Volume Format Size
Pose library a.taiquwei.com 288 sets / 2,880 images PNG 900 × 1200
Costume library b.taiquwei.com 1,407 outfits WebP Unified long edge
Portrait library c.taiquwei.com 1,499 portraits WebP Unified long edge

The pose library ships both depth maps and faceless line art, with filenames corresponding one to one, for 2,880 images in total.

Three ways to download

Single images

Open any image on a gallery page and download the original from the top right. Good when you need one or two images.

Bulk packs

The “Bulk download” button at the top right of the pose library packs images by system × angle: 80 images per pack, 20 packs in total. The dialog lets you switch between “thumbnails / originals” and “depth maps / line art”.

A thumbnail pack is about 1MB, good for quick browsing and building an index; an originals pack runs 40–50MB, so download it on a desktop.

Whole libraries

The costume and portrait libraries can be taken as whole packs by category (season / section / hairstyle). Individual originals can also be downloaded directly from the gallery page.

Copyright and usage boundaries

What you may do:

  • use them for AI art, ControlNet control images, base images, img2img inputs
  • use them for character design, storyboards and composition reference
  • use them for commercial projects, e-commerce imagery and teaching demonstrations
  • modify, crop and rework them

What is not advisable:

  • packaging the assets for resale, or offering a download service for them
  • claiming the assets are your own original work
  • bulk redistribution without permission

In one line: the value of an asset lies in being used, not in being possessed.

Asset use in the studio

Results generated in the Character Studio are kept on the server for 72 hours and cleaned up automatically. Download them promptly after generating — if you need to keep one long term, store it locally or in your own object storage.

About the API

The three asset libraries are static sites. All filtering happens locally in the browser, there are no database queries, and therefore no public interface. But you can:

  • reference the image URLs directly (all images are served over HTTPS with permanent links and a one-year cache)
  • take whole packs by category or system and host them yourself

API access to the compositing capability is configured centrally by the site administrator; contact them for details.

Common questions

Can I use the downloaded images commercially?

Yes. Using the assets for commercial work is fine, but do not resell the assets themselves as a product.

Why are pose images PNG while costume and portrait images are WebP?

Pose images need precise tonal separation and lossless line edges, which PNG handles more safely. Costume and portrait images are mostly real photographs, where WebP is far smaller at the same quality and loads much faster on the web.

Are larger versions available?

The 900×1200 originals are currently the highest resolution the site provides. If you need more, raise it through the contact details on the about page.
